World Class Quality

All Cateran catalytic converter bodies and spigots, are made from 409 stainless steel for durability and strength.
Shell bodies are robot TIG-welded, which offers attractive leak-proof seams, far superior to the seam welding techniques used by other manufacturers.
Only OEM-grade substrate, catalysts and coating is used for longer-lasting effective and efficient harmful gas coversion.
Cateran uses the latest manufacturing technologies, and equipment that includes CNC bending and end forming, laser cutting and robotic TIG and MIG welding to ensure repeat accuracy for all its products.

Worldwide Certification
Cateran holds certifications from California Air Resources Board for non-OBDII catalytic converters, from US EPA for OBDII-compliant converters (not for use in California), and from the Swedish Road Administration for EuroII certified converters (EC-Type approval number e5 00 0001). Ongoing testing and product development means you get world class quality product from Cateran.

Product Range and Devlopment
Cateran manufactures a wide range of universal and direct fit catalytic converters. The standard oval, round and wide-body universal converters are available in a full range of inlet and outlet sizes, can be fitted with O2 sensor bosses and are available as OBDII-compliant (not for use in California). The Catrean range also includes round body kits and mantles, 2-in 1-out wide-body universal converters and high performance universal metallic coverters, which includes the FIA/ASN homologated Race Cat, a 100cpsi catalyic converter specifically designed and built for racing applications.
